My desk and I think the desk of most other webnerds and geektypes are notoriously cluttered. My desk seems to be like a blackhole... everything is sucked towards it but if you actually need something off of it, it's nowhere to be found. Now I do clean it regularly however it appears to be magnetic. All random household items are automatically sucked towards it lol. Anyways, my point in bringing this up is because I was surfin today and found this picture. Somehow I feel vindicated after seeing this picture. Like somehow my life is less mixed up because that person's desk is far scarier than my own... and Im pretty sure everyones else's too. It's comforting somehow...

Well life has been a bit busy for me lately... online and off. My daughter had her 5th birthday at Chuck E Cheese which was rockin. She has a total blast. She got good presents but most of all got to dance and play and was very happy to stuff herself with chocolate cake lol.

Speaking of children I had a strange realization the other day. My children are flirts. Big ones. I know I know, I should know this but I'm steeeeeewpid. We went to the Living Desert the other day and we brought a picnic lunch and ate it at the playground so the kids could play. There was a little boy about 3 years old that my daughter decided to pounce on. She hollered "Hey" at him and he started happily following her. My hub and I were laughing. Not a couple of minutes later I notice my other daughter has attached herself to the same boy but is holding his hand and dragging him around. He seemed pretty happy about that. The little boy's dad was even chuckling a little about the fact that a pretty girl had caught him. One of my boys doesn't appear to be flirtatious at all yet... I think girls are still "icky", however the other one is quite the flirt at school. He informed me that all men have 10 hearts. You can give them to a girl but if she doesn't like you one heart is gone. He said he's already down two hearts. I told him he better be careful so he doesn't run out too quickly lol.

In other news, Michael got a promotion that he has been waiting for. YAY. He has worked so hard and definately deserves it. The day he came home and told me I thought he was going to explode. It's been a long time since Ive seen him that excited.

I was kinda surprised at how many of you come here looking for WoW updates... buncha geeks that you all are lol. So I took a few screenies of things here and there but figured I would put some up for your viewing pleasure and/or annoyance.

I got a new computer yesterday. It is in a massive tower so I have lovingly named it The Beast. It's not the best you can get but it sure is nice. Here are the geek stats for those that may be interested:

6 GBs of RAM, upgrading to 8 GBs shortly.
500 GB Master + 350 GB Slave drive
Mega cooling system

Plus all the usual goodies... burners, card readers, etc.. anyways Im so happy. Did I mention it runs WoW at blazing speed? Nice FPS and low latency. Anyways I took pics so everyone could see. Sorry that they arent the best. They really don't do it justice as it is hard to see the lighting effects.

Subject change. So today I was sitting in the car, waiting for someone and I felt the ball on my tongue stud loosen and fall off. I choked for a second and spit it out... in my car... on the floor...oops. I looked all over the car and I can't find my ball now *cry* It was my favorite stud because it fits just right and is titanium and doesn't break fast. So now Im in search of a new stud. I am going to buy a cheapie one for now just to hold it but I already miss this one. Anyways, I was surfing around and found some sites with really cute titanium studs so I may just grab on online.

As for the rest of my life... well it's fairly drama free... everyone is well and happy.

OK so I bought a new purse and it was so cute that I bragged about it to a couple of other people and they have now demanded pics. So I have obliged and taken pics of my newest girl aquisition. Click the thumbnail below to see the big version.



In shocking news, a guy spit on my car this morning. I was pulling out of a driveway near a store... I was going left and he was going right. He apparently couldn't see around me so he leaned out his window and hocked a big giant loogie on my side panel. Keep in mind he had a giant car too and I could not see around his car either. I'm guessing that guy needs to lay offa the crack and/or Red Bull lol. *sigh* Nothing like a little road rage. The good news is that my car was filthy from the rain and sand storm the other day so I really didn't care. I smiled and waved at him which seemed to enrage him further.

In other news, the new year is going nicely so far. Nothing really horrid *knocks on wood*... yet lol. Fairly nice weather here... family is happy... life is pretty good at the moment. Anyways I'm outta here for now. Much love to you all.

Well it's the new year and time to take stock of life... goals, dreams, changes. I don't make resolutions because let's face it, I am not one to actually do what I'm supposed to. So I was considering my ever-changing online life. It's funny how people come and go, especially online. There are so many people that have influenced and effected me online that I no longer talk to. I have been so lucky to find so many people that I really have cared about. People who taught me a lot about myself and life in general. I was reflecting on those people today. I miss them but it has gotten to the point where very few of us even attempt to make contact anymore. Kinda makes me feel like a bad friend but at the same time I also realize they aren't reaching out either. So friendships come and go. Anyways, I just wanted to say that if you are one of those people to me (you know who you are) please know that you are special to me and have made a difference in my life. I don't offer false apologies because no one is at fault, including me. Life changes and I wish those that have touched my life nothing but the best.
